When my mother was on holiday over here from Australia we travelled to Istanbul and she picked up some ointment there for her psoriasis called Dermovate.

The ointment worked wonders for her but unfortunately she cannot buy it in Australia (only the cream version which doesn't work).

They do sell it in the UK but you can only obtain it with a script and she is now back in Australia.

I asked my doctors if I could get a script for her and they said this was impossible and that she would need to come into the surgery.....

Will get to my question now:

Does anyone know how I could go about gettting some of the ointment. I rang a walk in clinic and they again told me it was impossible without mum being there. Her doctor in Australia is willing to speak to any doctor here or write a letter but I don't seem to be able to find anyone who will accept this.

Thank you for your repsonses - I had not thought about ordering online.

Went to the website that was suggested and you can order it but still need a script from your doctor. I have forwarded the link to my Mum and told her to get a script from her doctor in Australia and we will go from there.

Thanks again for your help.
