hamster wont go to sleep

What is the easiest way to get noisy, annoying squeaky hamsters to go to sleep? Mine has been sleepless for a couple of nights in a row and its bothering me now as he makes a ot fo noise shuffling about and crashing into things in his cage in the dark.....
Why doesn't dopey go to bed on time???

That's a terrible thing to say about dopey.... I just need to give him some milk and sing him a lullaby or maybe put him on my shoulder and pat him to dreamland....
He's usually a deep sleeper, even snores like a horse most nights, but he's been agitated last few nights for some reason :S

It may be that Dopey is agitated. Although it is a long way from a wild hamster, the hibernation urge is still there somewhat. Probably this time of the year they look for food to store for the 'winter'.
