I have had a pain at the back side of my head which is getting worse as the day goes on, now it has spread to my cheek. Does anyone know what it could be? It is not severe pain unless I would be at Docs but it is uncomfortable. Is it just a normal headache that happens to be at the back of my head rather than my forehead?

It could be a normal headache. It could also be Neuralgia, especially if its a shooting type pain.
If it's a tension headache, a couple of Syndol tablets should alleviate the pain.

Hope you feel better soon.
It could also possibly be a back tooth even if it doesn't feel like a tooth it can sit on nerves that affect the rest of your head
Does sound like Neuralgia. Do you feel like something icy is touching your head?
There's such a broad range of things it could be, from the simple (yet still painful) Neuralgia to more pressing matters such as blood pressure and tumours. If this persists, please do see your GP for professional advice.

I wish you well

thank you for your answers I still have no idea what it is I have never suffered from it before. It doesn't feel like ice and it's not really a shooting pain it's constant. Maybe it is a back tooth because its now effecting all that side of my neck aswell
Neuralgia is SEVERE pain. You would be at the doctors or dentists if you had that pain without knowing what it was - it is truly agony.
