A few years ago, I read a review in the daily paper about a book that I intended buying. I wrote down the title but it was unavailable at the time. I then lost the paper I had written the title on so I never ever got the book. It was about a woman who, after the death of her husband, was going through his things and found some love letters from someone he must have been having an affair with. That's all I can remember but it was recommended and I quite fancy reading it so anyone know what it is please

The plot line you've just described refers to hundreds if not thousand of books, making it very difficult to pin point which one your looking for. Try this. It's not about her husband having an affair but him trying to help her get on with her life again after his death.

Thanks but this is not it. I know the plot I've described is a bit vague but there was something about the review that made me want to read it - I'm wondering if the word 'forever' was in the title but that might be completely wrong.
It might be the Pilot's Wife by Anita Shreve
I was thinking The Pilots Wife too
