Why is it mostly/ always women who are called 'tarty' whereas men who act the same way don't have a name/adjective in the dictionary? I know many many tarty/sleazy men, a lot of them come on here actually, and I have to say, they put the female-associated word 'tart' to shame !! :(

The argument is forged in nature. Every emission I have I can father 200,000 children whereas woman can only have one a month (in science) for 30 or so years.

Ergo, it is natures way that men may populate and sleep around.

People are sensitized to it because a tarty woman represents a threat to your genes, a tarty man does not.
One of the biggest risks to your genes is that you invest your time and effort raising a child that you think is your own which is in fact fathered by another man. Thus men are sensitive to woman who may be tarts and pose a higher risk of this occurrence, and this bleeds into global cultural values.

what about men sleeping around who have various children with women other than the wife? Also, men brag about it a lot more then women I think? Women classify each other as 'slags' if they ever catch anyone bragging about the no of partners, whereas for men, it must be a regular evening pub chat, I'm sure with high fives and lots of patting on the back from other mates ....

Anyway, this not a real discussion, as I've posted in chatterbank.... you can chat about it, non-seriously.
