Retrieving pictures on mobile phone

Hi. I'm on Orange pay as you go. Why can't I rerieve the pictures I have had sent to my phone? A friend suggested it's because the people sending pictures are not with Orange. Is this right? Is there another way of viewing the pictures? Cheers.

i'm with orange and have never had a problem but my friend could not send or recieve photos she took the phone to shop and they de barred it as there is a thing on the phone that can prevent u from using this service i suggest u take it in to ur local orange shop
