Hello,
Well I have been given an essay title on The Brandenburg Concertos - No2 First Movement in Fmajor (BWV 1047).
I wondered if anyone had any good sites about it or any interesting information?
My title includes outlining the structure, themes, unity and structure of the themes, originality and diversity and moments of special significance. If any one has any original ideas or any interesting information I would be very appreciative - it's always interesting to see others ideas and perhaps debate over them... I had one with my lecturer the other in about fugue qualities present at bars 63 onwards!

Hope these help.
I seem to remember at school that we did one of the Brandenburg Concertos but its 16 years ago now.
I'll see what else I can find and remember.
One moment I do remember is in the exam we had to follow a passage from this and circle the mistakes on the score - this was aided by our music teacher who kept making noises, sucking through his teeth and a look of utter horror on his face when the mistake happened.
