Love this slide guitar. Do you play the guitar or anything else?

I played the piano until I was 14 and then decided I didnt want to anymore. I was at grade 7 but I was having problems with my wrist and I only have teeny tiny hands.

I can play the guitar enough to decide Im brilliant when I have had a few.

I have sent my 6 year old son to guitar lessons and managed to find him a teacher his left handed too. We also have a mini drum kit and my toddler has managed to find the beat to Starlight so a few more kids and they got a band going.

Good - Were you brought up with music in the veins, did your parents play?

Nope, my parents bought me a piano down the auctions when I was about 7 and I could play anything I heard on telly by ear, so I went to lessons when I was about 8 but its quite daunting when you are young and getting graded. I remember being so nervous before my grade 5 that I honestly though about smashing my hand up.

With the guitar thats just by ear too. I think I would have been quite good if I had been young when I picked it up.

I have a friend who is a session musician and he can play anythng . I have limited improvisation skills to be honest, if i could be anything it would be a rock star but Im just not cut from that cloth.

Hi bigmamma, sorry I missed your reply! My son got on the lap top. You must be very proud when you hear your family play! Two of my brothers play guitar, future son in law too.
