Does anyone know what the theme music was for the Tokyo Olympics in 1964 please - someone (based on the Guinness book of hit Singles) tells me it was Tokyo Melody by Helmut Zacharias - is anyone able to confirm or deny this?

Yes this is correct. It was his only hit reaching number 9 in October 1964
