how much to re-wire and re-plumb a three bed semi house

Could someone please give me a rough idea how much to re-wire the whole house..ive heard this is a horrible job to do and very costly!!

Also to install new combi new rads etc also new pipes as it has the original lead piping

Depending on the exact nature of the work you want doing, appliances fitted, etc, a ball park figure of between �5,000 - �10,000 is possible.

Make sure do any decorating afterwards though. It's a messy job!

Our new central heating (including combi boiler) was �2998.60 including VAT and the re-wiring of the electrics cost �2673.00 including VAT, although we did have the wiring for a security alarm put in.

Not sure about plumbing, sorry.

look in the yellow pages for tradesmen who do free quotes, get 3 seperate prices, pick the middle one.
and for this work i would book a weeks holiday and get it done whilst your away, a lot of upheavel and mess
