I would love to be able to post smileys/emoticons on the messages. Most message boards have them now and I hate not being able to use them here. Also it would be great if we could view other user's profiles(if they choose to make it public),then I would have some idea of who is who etc.

good idea i drive my friends nuts w those emoticons!!! luv em
One emoticon per post limit, and only if they include the *rolling eyes* one.
I like the profile idea, but not the emoticon one. I'm thinking of one particular category filled with nowt but smilies....it's bad enough as it is, the thought of an entire page worth of those 'orrible yellow, scary faces....shudder, nowt wrong with adding the odd :-) and suchlike.
YEAH im all up for the emoticons thing!!
lol boo

Like the ideas of the odd smiley! :)
I agree with Boo some folk use them to the limit and it does my wee peepers in.
One per post would be cool.
Profiles, also cool.
I don't care for the profile idea. For sure I'd fill mine with bogus info. Female paranoia perhaps.

I'd also like the option to turn off the email notification of replies to questions.
youravonlady- there is.

top right hand corner of your question page theres a red box thingy that says summet like "has your question been answered?"...tick that and voila, no more emails.
B00 see what you mean about the emoticons...
Eh?
that you would get pages of people just popping emoticons on!
Thanks Boo. Still got L plates on here.
Oh aye yeah, sorry, half watching telly at same time.
No smileys, no emoticons, no profiles.

If you want all of that - use one of the thousands of chat rooms available for chat.
