Can I safely freeze bacon? This is butcher's loose dry-cure bacon, not previously frozen. I bought too much!

I would think yes maxi2. Lay each slice on a plate and freeze, then put them together frozen. That way you take out how much you need each time.
just stick the pack in the freezer
yep, i always freeze bacon, have 3 packs of it in there now. i buy it when it's on offer and freeze it immediately.

Thanks all for your advice - its in the freezer.
It doesnt keep for very long in the freezer though - the fat can tend to go rancid!

Freezing cured meat is not recommended. Saltiness encourages rancidity. If frozen, use within a month.
