Just remembered reading Damien Hirst's comment on 9/11 from a couple of years ago.

Didn't he say that the attack on the Twin Towers was a visually stunning work of art?

Has he got a point?

Also the stark black and whites from from the German concentration camps, when they were 'liberated' by the Americans and British. They were visually stunning also. Unfortunately, the actors in neither 'situation' could garner any awards for their participation....But I suppose someone should beg for credits.
