chop up and dry fry onion, garlic, mushrooms and a little chilli ,add a tin of chopped tomatoes and tin of borlotti beans and heat till warmed right through and serve with either chicken, tuna, salmon or a bacon chop, low in calories ( or points if your following weight watchers) and very tasty and filling makes a change from the normal options of potatoes pasta or rice :-)
I love watercress soup and although there is some potato in it to thicken it slightly it is still low in calories.
For a snack I have a brown pitta bread of slice of ryvita and some low fat philadelphia cheese on it.

For main meal I have stir fried veg or baked potato with baked beans!
I find Oatcakes are really filling, i eat them instead of bread at lunchtime! Bit tastier then Ryvita!

Thanks for your suggestions. I now have a few new options to try. I occasionally do nibble oatcakes. Somebody said it was like chewing cardboard but I find them quite filling and they have a low sugar content compared to other biscuits.
try Nairns oatcakes in ginger (low GI) or mixed berries (medium GI) flavours. The ginger ones are so good!!
