We're looking to buy a second hand - old style mini cooper but before we go ahead we would like a rough idea of the costs involved in treating the usual rust spots found on these old cars. Can anyone help?

The old minis suffered serious corrosion problems with the front and rear subframes and the sills. Have these inspected very carefully as they are an integral part of the structural integrity of the car. The seam on the front wings always rusts prematurely.
