Well, wikipedia have an adult sub site so why not answerbank?
It would remove the insults and make the original answerbank a more friendly place.

Why should it have?

Why can't adults act like adults and not adopt silly names to go around upsetting other adults over petty, little squabbles.

Do you see my point?
Question Author
I see your point china but some people will never change, and why should they spoil it for others.
Then it is up to AB Ed to implement the Site Rules and remove those people so they don't spoil it for others.

I think having an adult sub-section would be pandering to it.
PS

Incase you missed CD's point, she kindly highlighted them for you, pmsl.

But yes, for once (1st time for everything I guess!) I agree with her, if we all responded to posts like adults, we wouldn't need such a category DrR.

The fact that I often respond to posts childishly is besides the point obviously ;-)

Yes, CDB00, but you will always get people who like to arse about and swear.
Also, The adult site, would be a place were we could have livley discussions on a variety of mature topics, without spoiling the original answerbank.
They made sports answerbank so why ot adult answerbank?
I believe AB had a catagory purely for chat but it was removed when the "chat" led to unpleasant vile characters abusing all and sundry.
Boobies agreed with me?!

It has just been reported that hell is closed for the day due to a sudden onslaught of ice. In other news, flying pigs have today been seen all over the south east of England and Scientists have prooved once and for all that unicorns did indeed exist and were ridden by mermaids.
How would you moderate it to ensure that those under 18 were not using it?

Hope that wasn't sexually explicit cd...
Have some ginger punch: http://www.drred.com.au/gingerpunch.htm
Its my own variety.
I'm sorry DrR, hate to be blunt 'ere, but your either very naive or haven't seen any of the "lively" discussions that we have occasionally on AB.

Can you honestly see the current members of oooo lets say the late night ABers, entering into a mature debate without name calling and virtual fisticuffs????
Question Author
CD - You would go by the date in their profile and if they lied about their age to get in then thats tough.

B00 - Yes i have seen Ab late at night and i agree, but at least it would take it away from the main site.
Dr Red? You would go by the date in their profile would you? how do you know they are telling the truth? I could enter that I was born in 1910 making me 97, doesn't mean I am though does it? (even though I feel like I'm 97 sometimes)
If there was an AB adult microsite, I doubt I would go there. Would it have those multicoloured vinyl strips hanging from the doorway and be full of bald middle-aged men in raincoats? Uurgh!

I agree with the sentiments above, the AB Editor & Team are obviously manoeuvring the ethos of the site towards those who might be gullible enough to click on the advertising links and of course, dirty rotten scoundrels who post filth and malice under a variety of pseudonyms.
oooh, that was rather bold of me.
