Hi, I am off to Austria for the family holiday to Radstadt and then to Hinterglemm which I believe is the region of Salzburgland.
I have 3 children ( all girls) 1, 8, & 11 and would be grateful for any suggestions on places to visit / things to do to keep them entertained. Apart from the usual themeparks, they also love animals and horseriding.

Thanks in advance

I've visited the places you're going to, and, as Austria is a beautiful country, you'll find lots to do and see. There's plenty of horse riding, trips up mountainsides and wonderful walks. In rural areas, you might see the beautiful huge-eyed cows which sometimes wander down the street - with their cow bells on! Entertainment is often laid on at the places you'll be staying in. Austrian children sometimes line up and sing & play traditional songs for guests. The people are very friendly, & fantastic leather goods can be found in the shops. The food isn't always what you're used to, but just shop around. Have a great holiday!
