If you get 2 lots of 6 points for driving without insurance within two weeks of each other is it an automatic ban?

you havent said if he is a new driver within 2 years if it is the case then he will be banned
if a young driver collects more than 6 points within a 2 year period since passing his/her driving test then the totting up procedure decreases to 6 points
but it would be up to the courts to impose the penalty that is to come
maybe he'll learn this time

Thank you..... he has been driving for almost 3 years...... he is 21. I think he has learnt his lesson now..... hasn't driven since he got stopped and now won't drive because of the ban. He hates being without his car.
