Hi I just want to hear from A/B regulars, if any of you have a 13 yr s old Daughter, or similar. what time has she got to come in? on a school night and when shes not on a school night. As I tell my daughter to come in at 10pm when shes not in school and 9pm when she is in school.
and shes always moaning to me that her friends stay out longer. just wondered what times you with a daughter of a similar age lets their kids come in at.
many thanx

that is exactly the time my daughter has to be in there is no compromise im afraid lol
I have a 13year old son and he comes in at around 7.00pm. This is the same time all his mates go in as well. I think 10.00pm is way too late. What in Gods name could they find to do, walking the streets ?
snap I have a 13 year old that moans her friends stay up/out longer. My daughter is in bed by 9 on a school night and 10 to 10.30 at weekends. Luckily she doesn't go out but on the occasion she goes to a friends I ask her to be back by 8 on a school day so she has time to have a shower etc before bed.
I think you have the times spot on.
we live in a very rural area so there is nowhere for her to go, but my daughter goes to bed by 9pm on a school night and 9.30pm at the weekend.
We have to get up at 6.30am to get ready for school, bus etc.. so if she's not in bed by then she can't cope with the day as she doesnt get home til 5pm.
CORE you lot are good my daughter is 17 this sept and she still has to be in by 9.30 the latest and tell me something what is a 13 yr old doing out on the street at 10 pm even at the weekends ??
She needs her sleep and believe me she will be so tired soon with her course work because it can become quite intense at times and you know the old saying YOU REP WHAT YOU SOW ..
tell your daughter she's very lucky. iam not gonna let mine stay out that late, unless they are going somewhere specific eg the cinema, and even then they would be picked up. i think 10 is too late, then you have a hoard of kids hanging around with nothing today, i believe thats when the trouble can start. but hey mine arent there yet, so maybe i'll change my tune when they are:-)
Try explaining the need to get good gcse grades and if she doesn't she will have all the time in the world to hang around with no money and no prospects ;-)
I think that most of the answers are right, no later than pm and even earlier on a school day.
