I am finally moving into a house after living in an apartment with no garden for some time. I am having to do the garden from scratch as it is a new house with no rear garden other than a pile of dirt. Can anyone recommend a garden design software package as I would like to get an idea of what the garden would look like and I am not a great artist. Thanks

The link below gives you a choice and description of all the software you will ever need. I have Alan's Barleywood Design package as well as the Geoff Hamilton's CD - both came in a magazine offer and are highly recommended.

If you're looking for a British made garden software I've made the Complete Gardens plant selector & pruning guide CD-ROM.
I'm proud to say that our CD got the top 5 star rating in Computer Shopper and awarded Best new Product at the Glee Garden Trade Show.
The one with Geoff Hamilton on the cover mentions aralilos & locusts as pests which might give an idea where it's made and the much loved Geoff had nothing to do with the content. please see www.complete-gardens.co.uk or www.amazon.co.uk look ig garden software and you can see reviews on all the garden software they sell..
