I will be moving to France in a couple of months. Early next year hope to be getting married in Jamacia. Which airport in France would you fly from, to get to Jamacia. I know I will have to contact a French Travel Agent as I assume good old Thompson Holidays or Thomas Cook don't work in France. Any ideas?

Thanks x

as far as i can see on checking,, their is no direct flight from france to jamacia,, u have to go via london or the US.. sry
There are much better islands in the Caribbean than Jamaica in which to get married. The locals are very much "in your face"there. Barbados, St Lucia and St Maarten are much better and you'll get a direct Air France flight to St.Maartin
Dassie, in your face, what you talking about . I got married in a Jamacia and had a fab wedding.
Sorry Amber don't know about flights but go for Jamacian wedding it was fab.
I wasn't talking about the actual wedding ceremony but the locals pestering you when you visit the tourist areas on honeymoon. On the other Islands they are less "pushy"
Soz Dassie mistook your answer as dissin Jamacia, but cannot agree on tourist part, Dunnes river falls, swimming with dolphins, best in the world no pestering at all. What am experience.
sorry, have to agree with dassie, they were all over us,in a threatening manner a lot of the time, spoilt our holiday a bit.
Dassie and NTG are completely correct. You attempt to walk the streets in and around Montego Bay and you'll be assaulted with impertinent and sometimes intimidating 'in your face' behavior. If you stay in the touristy areas such as the Falls, Negril, etc, or those hotels where you don't even have to venture outside the grounds everything's fine.
