Im loath to admit it but I nearly wet myself when Vic and Bob did the Hernia Helpline sketch on shooting Stars, not exactly a classic but very funny. Oh that and Father Ted, Speed 3 when Dougals driving the milk float and Teds disassembling a road block made out of empty card board boxes....so funny

I love the dance David Brent does in 'The Office', the bit where Delboy falls through the bar in the cock tail bar, any scene from Bo Selecta'
Too tricky to choose one! I agree the DB dance is up there among my favourties, along with the scene in series one of The Office where they are singing 'Free Love Highway'. All the Bo Selecta Michael Jackass and Craig David mickey takes have me in stitches!! Also, there's a brief scene at the beginning of one episode of I'm Alan Partridge (series two) where AP is talking to someone called Roy who has phoned into his show and they're talking about taking Sean Connery to Legoland and then taking him for a a 'lovely lamb lunch'. The way the conversation ends just tickles me for some reason!

Basil Fawlty giving his car, "a right good thrashing" with the tree branch. Morcambe and Wise making breakfast to the stripper music (not quite sure what the musics called). The muppets "manamana" made me laugh so much when I first seen it, and still does. One Foot In The Grave, when Victor goes to answer the phone and picks up the dog. Batman and Robin in Only Fools and Horses. I could probably add more, but I'll stop for now.
Only Fools and Horses : the chandelier
The final scene of 'Fawlty Towers', 'The Psychiatrist' when the entire farce knits together as basil meets 'Mother' Johnson - everyone walks away, and Basil crouches down, pulls his jacket over his head, and hops around likea frog. It is just the agony of sympathy and amusement combined - classic.
Father Ted - the over 75's 5-a-side game. Ted is desperate to beat his nemesis' ( Father Dick Byrne ) 5-a-side team and enlists the help of a pair of false arms and a remote controlled wheelchair, with the sub-plot of Dougal trying to stop the corner flag from being stolen. Genius!
There are so many, but one of my current favourites is near the end of the final episode of Coupling - the Spiderman dance.
I like the scene with Mr.Bean conducting the salvation army's band as they play carols and he slips into some jazzy stuff. Del boy trying to communicate with the spanish jailer in an effort to get grandad sprung. Quo Vadis..had me in convulsions.
Familiarity and over-repetition has taken its toll but whenever i see a question/debate about this i always immediately think of Del Boy falling through the bar.
The bit in dumb and dumber where he goes into the toilet and uses it in a big way and then she says its broken. So so funny.
The episode in Phoenix Nights where Jerry takes too many pills and entertains the old folks in his own special way, either that or the one where Brians stair lift breaks down and he s*its himself
WOW! what a variety of answers. Of course Only fools, The office, Fawlty towers etc. Coupling?? I never seen it but will now! Surprised to see a lot of Father Ted in there aswell. As for me, i'm afraid Homer Simpson has made me laugh out load more than any other especially on his bender with Ned in Vegas, 'we'll say you got gang probed by aliens!'
Bottom - Gas. At the start where they are both playing cards. Then GAS MAN GAS MAN GAS MAN! The lying to and the beating of the gas man. THEN trying to get rid of the body. Excellent :D
In the "Rat" episode of Fawlty Towers, when Manuel enters the shed, bends down, clasps his hands and says "Baseel" !! Or when Phoenix Nights has the psychic who says "im hearing the word, nonce" Or,perhaps when Alan Partridge appears as a zombie!!!
After reading all these I'm laughing too much to think of a favourite (nor can I get the picture of Mrs Doyle's platter of aeroplane sandwiches out of my mind).
Any Still Game episode, every one a classic. Alan Partridge, when he's covered in chocolate sauce after a wriggle with one of his female employees, the conversation with Michael is outstanding, or the one Michael is telling Partridge about the time he killed his monkey for eating his fags, brilliant. Only fools and horses episode where Rodney is in a band, and Uncle Albert tells Del it's unfair how he treats Rodney and Del replies, "Neither's Frank Bruno's A**e, but I don't go on about it", brilliant writing.
