If you do not have a BT phone line you cannot change at all except perhaps to satellite which is hugely expensive.

If you are determined to change you will have to get BT connected (for a fee) and pay for line rental plus broadband charges. Many broadband providers charge for technical support, and many have a useage limit, which Virgin doesn't have.

I am with Virgin, pay 10 a month broadband, 10 a month for the tv and I don't have a phone line - I use Skype and very rarely my mobile.

This saves me at least 10 a month on telephone line rental alone.
We have recently go on to Tesco's broadband service which, so far, we are very impressed with!! You get clubcard points too!! Every little helps!!!
You need a bt line for Tesco broadband.
I was with Virgin until march. Ihad BT installed(phone line only, 11pm) & now have Sky, See,Speak,Surf 26pm.I find it very good indeed. Also for an extra 5pm I get unlimited phone calls.I know that this sounds like an advertising promo, but I believe,if you find something good tell your freinds about it.
