What does it mean if a book is/isn't price clipped?

As a guess, would it be one that has had (or hasn�t if unclipped) a corner on the inside front of the dust cover � where the price usually is � removed/cut off?

Unclipped books are considered more valuable as they are effectivels 'untouched'
