For 19D, hothead is probably (for this compiler) H, as in first letter of hot. 18A The trouble is that the two of them showed hesitation (6) _ _ _ _ E _ 19D Upset hothead? Not even, but won't cut corners (8) _ _ O _ _ _ _ _ 29A Put the ring on the bird from the S Korean capital, wandering about (5) _ _ S _ L (pretty sure it's OUSEL but don't get the "put the ring on" part) 32A Fools layers of coastline? Hello again, kayakamina, and thank you again! 19D is now T _ O _ O _ G _, surely THOROUGH, won't cut corners, but don't see the rest of it. Also, do you see the "put the ring on" part of 29A?

Have it now, anag of hot and rough (not even - I kept thinking odd). Thanks again, never would've got GULLS, didn;t know the verb.
There is a bird called a ring ousel - but I still don't really get it!
