smelly kitchen due to having kippers

can anyone give a suggestion on how to rid my house of the smell of kippers, just started loving them, but oh what stink afterwards,used smelly guaranteed getting rid of smells like oust but came back in later and still stinks any help would be appreciated!

Next time - before you even get the kippers out of the fridge - pour about a tablespoonful of ordinary vinegar into a saucer and place that on a work-top. It neutralises the smell easily. You could try that even now.
We've been having kippers for Friday breakfast for many years and this works every time.
