Did you see the man who missed his wedding in Barcelona because he was refused a flight because of his tatty passport?. At some stage it had been through a washing machine and the photo became detached. He seemed quite proud of the fact that he had used it several times in that condition so it was not new damage. I have no sympathy at all for people like this and hope that it is a lesson to others.

I agree -I was well pleased he was refused -not only by EJ -but by the other airline he tried it on with.

I just wouldnt take ANY chances with my passport in the current climate -his bleeding photo was almost hanging off.

Can you imagine the uproar if hypthetically there had been an act of terrorism.

Its often a lose/lose situ with the arilines.

Dont get me started on Ryanair tho and their new policy with paying for every bag you check in -there is NO such thing as a low cost airline and Ryanair are the WORST I have ever had the misfortune to travel with -grrr
Really Drisgirl, never travelled with Thomas Cook then? They are bandits.
If you dont carry any check in luggage with Ryanair you still have to pay for priority boarding. There is no way of removing it on the website.
