After 7 days, numerous calls to the RSPCA, Cat Protection, Vets, 200 posters, knocking on neighbours doors and lots of heartache, Joey came home last night!!!!
Much skinner and louder than ever (I think he was explaining himself!) but he is back, unhurt and very hungry!!!!!!
He has gobbled down, tuna, ham, whiskers pouches etc etc and is currently sleeping on my sofa!!!!
I'm so happy, I cant really believe it!
Thank you for all your kind words in the post below.....

"I'm sorry but I'm going to be puuuuurfect from now on - Miaowwwwwwwwwwww"

Love naughty Joey (With milk all around his chops!) xxxxxx
I'm so pleased to hear Joey's back !!!! He obviously knows when he's on to a good thing.
That's great news!

Just goes to prove how bloody-minded cats can be!

You know what they say - a dog will give you undying love and affection - a cat will take a message and get back to you!
remember he wasn't lost - HE knew where he was.

Sometimes you want to cuddle them and sometimes you want to strangle them! But you've got to love them.
Don`t forget he might not have been able to get home if he was locked in somewhere. My British blue little girl went missing the day we moved house.I too was frantic, did everything to find her. Then after 8 days i was sitting in the garden and heard a familiar miow. We`re convinced she`d been locked in a garage.
great news - i always love it when a lost pet story has a happy ending.
yey,

I bet that was your best nights sleep last night girly,so pleased to hear hes returned and is ok.
Hooray Joey's back, so glad.....YipEEEEEEEE
So happy for you - our cat disappeared for a week once and he came home covered in coal dust - think he had been shut in a coal shed.

You guys are wonderful!

Tigerwoo please accept a very special thank you from our family.

I have "Imprisoned" him within the house as we move a week today so he has relunctantly having to use a litter tray which is most inconvenient for him!!!!!

Lots of love to you all.

Hi Girly
thanks for your message.Bet Joey is on the phone to Cat Line as soon as you're backs turned to report you for holding him prisoner LOL,sooner keep him indoors even if he is'nt too impressed...at least you know where he is and you will have peace of mind won't you. Good luck with your move and hope youall settle in well....and of course...live happily ever after. x
Girly, glad the wanderer has returned! If you're moving house, keep him in for a week or two after the move so he's used to the new house, feels safe there and it's familiar to him so when he starts to go out he'll want to come back to a safe place with you. Then he'll find his own way around. Good luck with the move.
