I am doing a "make over" in my sitting roomI have a cream leather suite,cream drapes and cream fireside rug with a plain navy carpet , what colour walls would go best do you think, any suggestions would be helpful cos I cannot decide.

i would go for a duck egg blue then scatter some duck egg and some navy cushions on sofas to tie in
You have a very versatile stasrting point - you could do anything you like! Just be sure it is a strong color to give structure to the room. Navy on at least one wall would be ok and then lighter blues or some complimentary bright colors on the others. Think about the mood you'd like to achieve - classic? elegant? conservative? formal? Restful? romantic? cozy? modern? traditional? Men's club? Arty salon? Victorian bower? Then browse in the paint store. My local one has pamphlets of related colors gathered under themes like the words above.
