anagrams

I don't know whether this is the right place to ask this but here goes -
Does anyone know of an Anagram book which includes names of people and places?
I have had no joy at the library and both the local booksellers can get me books but can't tell me what the contents cover.Any suggestions would be very welcome(incidentally, I never buy on-line)

There is a site Calle d"The Universal Anagram Solver" absolutely brilliant comes up with everything. Towns animals birds films books you name it it comes up with it. I find it very usefu;l Good Luck.

I find Chambers Crossword completer very useful if I am not near the computer to go on the site mentioned above

This Wordfinder lists all proper nouns first of all and is a valuable addition to Chambers as it can also do 'anagram minus' and 'anagram plus' searches.

Thank you everyone for your suggestions. Thanks to you I have now been able to solve 4 of the anagrams which have been driving me crazy and am perservering with 3 more.
