Is this not the Mo' Cartoons all over again? How long before they are outside No. 10 or Buckingham palace telling us who we can and can't give a knighthood to and muslims wonder why they feel alienated by the west. Why can't they understand liberty and free speach. I say live and let live.

Couldn't care less really, don't think he is worth a knighthood. However, perhaps better than another bl00dy footballer or pop singer.
I'm not in favour of these awards-But I'm even less in favour of being bossed about by Religious idiots. they'll be beating our wives for showing hair next.
I agree we should not be dictated to by any other country as to whom knighthoods are granted.Nevertheless I fail to see any reason for someone who writes books including a highly controversial one that forced him into hiding at great expense to this country to qualify for a knighthood. He does not even live in this country anymore.America is his chosen country. Now we will have a great stirring up of trouble from Muslims who are still after him and it might bring innocent people into danger.Whoever put him up for a knighthood needs to think again.
Hmmm, appparently they are going to revoke the knighthood incase it upsets any more muslims.
They are saying that it justifies suicide attacks.
Apparently they are just going to give it to shilpa shetty as a mark of good faith...
to answer your first question, about 10,000 years. The greenhouse gases will have got you by then, so I shouldn't worry.

Touch jno but I think you'll find that we'll be in a block of ice by then cos the earth's next ice age is coming soon.
I'm getting my microwave slippers out of the wardrobe right now, ned. I don't know how soon is soon, but as the earth cools from a blob of molten metal to a lump of ice as the sun goes out, I have no doubt it's happening.
