buying a council house

i have in the past been a council tennant for 15 years. however me and my girlfriend have moved in together and now we are joint tennants..... am i still entitled to my full discount....we have been living together for 1 year... if i am at the wrong site please let me know where to ask this question...cheers GARY

i would have thought contacting the council would be your best bet; you might not even have a right to buy
Your right to buy will not be affected by adding your girlfriend to your tenancy.

All councils have a right to buy scheme but it would be worth checking with them.
