Anyone slept in or sleep in a hammock?

Was wondering if they are comfortable for a good nights sleep.

Anyone know of any other comfy alternatives?

how about sleeping on a layer of marshmallows? cheap enough to buy, and convenient for breakfast time!

Nice idea but i'm not 5 years old anymore and I could easily sweat which would make for some interesting gooey stuff in the morning ;o)
Awesome,, a bed of flumps! I'd buy it.

Oh errr, alternatives? Waterbeds?
lol a bed of flumps!!, I would probably have to keep being rushed to A&E for choking whilst eating them in my sleep!!!
I doubt that a hammock would give you a comfortable nights sleep to be honest. I have heard that a water bed is very good for you, especially those like myself who suffer from a bad back. Just need to find one and try it out now and I'll let you know for definite.
Hammocks are fantastic things - very comfortable.
You get the most amazing sex on a waterbed ;-)
I know its still a bed but we have a king size inflatable bed in the bunglow we are refurbing and I havent laughed so much in ages. Dont think we blew it up enough 1st night and I suppose it was a bit like a water bed but v much with a mind of its own. Recommend underinflated air bed if you have rowed with other half because you certainly get thrown together in the middle!!!! Comfy 2nd night after proper inflation but nothing like the same fun. Wheres that valve again???
I have a Hammock, slung between two trees in the garden, very comfortable, I also find the floor comfortable.
the best alternative to sleeping in a bed is shagging in a bed

Sleeping in a hammock is extremely comfortable. Let's face you can't do much else in it.
