25a I hesitate to query Kayakamina (below), but I prefer INCA to ANNA. Clue is 'Antique Indian brass'.

Once
I prefer Anna being the former Indian coinage ... therefore brass.

Thanks, Sarumite. I just feel stupid on ONCE. But there is something called INCA BRASS, a gold alloy, so still unsure about INCA or ANNA.
Have just seen your post querying my answer of Anna.

I cannot see any connection between Indian and Inca ?

Am i missing something?

Tentatively, the Quechua / Quicha / Kechua people are described are described as the largest group of South American Indians, descended from the Incas. It's not decisive, and I am leaning towards Anna now, but perhaps I could blame you if I am wrong, convinced that I would have won otherwise, Kayakamina?
Can't see it being anything else but "anna". Even though clues in ST cryptic tend to be nebulous answers are never totally obscure.
