How do I clear the lists of previous searches on google. If I type in 'a' on google it brings a drop down box of all the searches I have ever made beginning with 'a'. How do I clear them all? I don't want to stop the auto complete, just want to remove them all and start again. TIA

I can't see that, it's not on mine
Tools/Internet Options/Clear History.
Job done
Clear history will not clear your google searches.

Goto tools --> internet options --> content --> Auto Complete --> Clear Forms.
I don't think xud's solution will work and pauln90's only works if you've downloaded the Google toolbar... try this, open the Google Search and then in the search box type "a" (without the quotation marks), then when all the searched items beginning with the letter "a" appear, place your cursor over the first item. Simply depress the "delete" key and hold it... all the items will delete in turn. Then repeat witht he letter "b", etc. There may be another method, but I haven't discovered it. This just takes a few minutes even if a little cumbersome...
Im sure mine is like Lousie in the right hand corner if it is i do what xud does...
Kerplunk`s method just worked on mine. Thank you, been trying to do this for ages.
Go to Start bottom left
Then find your Control Panel left mouse click
Look for Internet options double left mouse click
In General you should have a section saying Browsing History click left mouse on delete
Then another section will show to ask what do you want deleting i always press Delete all.....But if you do this you will delete all the crap everything even password so make sure you no them.
It will ask you again to confirm plus there will be a little box saying also so delete files and add on's tick that and then press Yes......
This will take a though minutes to delete all the files especially if you have not done it in ages... This is for Xp
Kerplunks method is the only one that works properlly. Google search bar is a form created in XHTML and windows saves forms if you want it too.

So clearing forms clears the search bar. So all the boobies, knockers, Jenni McCarthy can all be deleted HEEHEHEHEHE
