what are the effects on breathing and respiration when induced to hyperbaric (high pressure) enviroments?

the more obvious answer would be the opposite to low pressure environments. the subject would probably have increased levels of gases in thier bloodstream. they might also suffer the "bends" commonly associated with diving when returned to normal pressure levels. this has something to do with nitrogen forming bubbles in your blood, but i can't be sure
forgot to say also they would probably struggle to exhale air from the lungs, as the pressure of the gases outside the lungs would reduce the air flow.
