does anyone when the smaller version will be released..?
Cant seem to find dates anywhere..

Might not make an appearance. It has not been well liked in Japan and USA so its future is in doubt.

Sony are stopping producing them.
Apparently something like 80% of all PS3 sales are the big beasty version so they're canning the smaller one.
