My (now ex..!) girlfriend was at a conference in Berlin with a load of tecchy slap heads on her birthday....so I flew out there unbeknown to her, knocked on her door 'room service' stylee after the conference had finished and then surprised her with a big bunch of yellow roses (her fave), took her to dinner at a flash restaurant and then retired to bed early, if you get me. Thank god she wasn't having it away with someone at the time eh?! That would have been a shock! No, that came later..! Beee-atch....

Awww thats sweet. Well not the ending :(
Anyone else xx
My hubby's done lots of romantic things for me, one that sticks out in my mind was when our girls were staying at my Mum's for the night and my hubby was picking me up en route from work to go back to our house, get ready and go out for a meal. Anyhoo, he was really late and I needed loads of time to get ready (bath, wash hair, dry hair, style hair, I have a lot of hair!!) and his excuse was that a lorry had turned up at work and he had to stay behind and unload it! I was having none of it and sulked in the car giving one word answers on the way home. When we got home there was a bunch of flowers with a note attached with cryptic clues, which when I followed them lead me to chocolates, wine etc.. so he was late home because he had already been home, hidden them, then had to think of clues for me to find them! I felt bad for being in a mood with him thinking he was late because of work, but he wasn't bothered, luckily!
He does everyday romantic things, like bring me a cup of tea in bed every morning, tells me he loves me, hugs me. I know he would do anything for me which is something no-one else has ever done.

One thing I did was one crimbo, I bought one of those UV pens and wrote love messages all over our bed sheets and pillows and then handed him the pen.

I'll stop now! lol

I'm not sure whether this is -strictly speaking- romantic, but my hub has NEVER got over it, and it was in 98. We'd had a week in Greece with his mum which he'd loved, and he'd always said we should go again. I got to thinking, and hatched a plan. I saved up a bit of money each month, so he wouldn't notice, from around November until May and used it to book a fortnight in Greece in June. I spoke to his boss and booked him some time off without him knowing, and swore his boss to secrecy. (Hub's job is not something he can just drop - he normally has to wind things down for a week or two first, so I really had to beg for the time!) I bought train tickets to Gatwick, booked a taxi to the station, bought the currency - everything. The evening before, I set up the video camera to capture the moment, and told him I wanted to tell him something. He was panic-struck! I gave him one clue at a time to try to guess - train ticket, atlas with a post-it on the Greece page etc, but he wasn't thinking straight and couldn't get it. (D'oh!) In the end I just told him where we were going next day. I had to give him the plane ticket before he'd believe me! I'd also had to promise his boss that he would go in for an hour or so next day to hand over to someone, so when he went in and found EVERYone knew, he was truly, genuinely speechless.
We had a fantastic time, and he has always said he will better it one day, and that I will never see it coming, but I'm still waiting....of course.....
One of my ex-boyfriends made me a heart shaped pizza on Valentine's day...and once on my birthday he gave me a bag with some pressies in, one was his last chocolate rolo!
My bloke, well I'm kinda seeing (long complicated story) knew I'd been having a rough time, so he booked a weekend in the lake district, organised for my daughter to be looked after, gave me 12 red roses and took me on a surprise and we ended up in this gorgeous little cottage where he was my 'servant' for the whole weekend ;o)

Also, my daughters father, when we were together, serenaded me, naked, in the middle of the night, with a rose between his bum cheeks, cos he'd seen it on Cold Feet!
my boyfriend is quite romantic. things like booking a hotel room for the night and surprising me by taking me to a posh resturant and ordering champagne for the room when we got back. also ordering me a big boquet of flowers when iv been down and having them delivered to my door. he lived with me for the week whilst my parents were away in march. i was working one night and came home to a bubble bath with candles and a take away on the table for afterwards. i love it when he spoils me. makes me feel loved! x
Had a kwicky last night there you are
For our 25th wedding anniversary, I booked a holiday in the same room at the same hotel that we honeymooned in on Jersey.
