What should I be looking for??

Hi all,

I would like a laptop, but I am not sure exactly what I should be looking for - I will want it for specific things and obviously don't want to pay more than is necessary for features I will never use.

I would use the laptop mainly for internet browsing, mystery shopping and also for microsoft works/office etc. I do quite a bit of typing. I would also use it for occasional pc gaming, and downloading music for my iPod. I would also ideally want it to have a wireless broadband connection.

Can anyone recommend what specifications I should look for and roughly how much I should be expecting to spend?

Many MANY thanks.
(also posted this in computer sub section, but doesn't look like a lot gets answered in there!!)
