N reg fiesta ghia air bag?

Can anyone tell me if our ford fiesta ghia (N reg) is likely to be fitted with a front passenger air bag? We have a baby due in a couple of weeks and the rear seat belts aren't long enough so she'll have to go in the front. However, if there is a front passenger air bag it would not be safe to do this. I've read that there have been cases of people de-activating the air bag but it still going off? ADVICE PLEASE.

On your dash board immediately infront of the passenger seat, should be a panel that says ABS airbag on it if it has one. It has to come from somewhere and this is where they put it. If there is no panel and no sign of an airbag there won't be one.

If your not sure still go to your dealer - someone will check it for free.
