Is anyone aware of any (serious and non threatning) way I can pursuade my bank to give me a cash point card that I can use in any cash point machine, not just those operated by the bank? I have a cash account and a cash card. This card allows me access to my money but only by using the cash points owned and operated by my bank. (for example I can't nip round to the petrol station because the cash point machine is operated by another bank and my card won't work) I have contacted my bank claiming this is a restrictive practice as it prohibits proper and fair access to my own funds. As you would expect the bank has rejected my claim and hides behind the usual frequently used excuses for not acceeding to legitimate requests.

Has any one had a similar issue and resolved it to their satisfaction, if so how?
