Has anyone had any experience, good or bad, from seeing a hypnotist to help stop smoking? I've got a certain amount of willpower and I could use patches but I feel I need a big kick up the a*se to get me going! Also can anyone recommend a hypnotist in the Winchester / Hampshire area? many thanks

I went to a hypnotist many years to give up smoking, needless to say it didn't work as I still smoke, but then again I have no willpower whatsoever, perhaps it will work for you.

good luck

Oops 'many years AGO'
It worked for me!! I haven't had a ciggy for about 18 months, I couldn't have done it without the hypnotherapy, you will need a lot of willpower, especially once you think your are over it and you then become complacent.

GO FOR IT and good luck
I'm on my 4th day of abstinence, & i'm using nicotine chewing gum. I've tried patches in the past, but I found I wasn't getting the 'hit' of nicotine.
Being a tight Yorkshireman, I've gone for the cheapest method. BTW I consciously cut down on the fags a couple of weeks before I stopped altogether.
GOOD LUCK it aint easy.
One of my work mates's mum went, she's been smoking for 40 years, it was money back if no result, it took 2 tries, now she's not touched one or craved to do so for 3 months..
