Can anyone tell me which insurance firms give a no-claims bonus to the named second driver of a car? I had insurance of my own but when I gave up the second car the insurance relapsed as it was over 3 years ago. At the moment the insurance is in my husband's name and if anything happened to him I would have to work up my own no-claims bonus which could be expensive.

Many thanks, I'll ask them. Does anyone know of any more?
Tesco are also doing it but be careful, the small print says that the NCD applies only if the named driver buys insurance from Tesco when they get their own policy.
I was given 4yrs NCB from Frizell/Liverpool Victoria when I got my own insurance after being with them on my hubby's policy for 4 years
