think it is an anagram of its rental share and somthing about retranslate is the e in the right place?

No, I haven't gotten any more letters as yet as am stuck in this corner so this word would at least give me 8 letters to have another go at it.

Teacher1. I've tried every combination I can think of an can't come up with anagram of 'its rental share' which, incidentally, was my first train of thought.
REAPPORTIONMENT is looking a good possibility. I'm now working on its derivation from the clue.
Its rental share only gives 14 letters !
How about TRANSLITERATION?

If you take rental out of Aquaqility's answer you are left with transition which means changing.

So could be the answer.

I realised this as you all posted answers within seconds while I was trying to work out why transliteration.
Sorry but I am plainly slower than the rest of you.
Oh well I will just keep trying as practice will make perfect.
