I have just come back from a trip to holland as I went to go through security at Manchester Airport to catch my flight home I was asked if I had any false teeth when I said yes I was asked to take them out and put them through the xray I refused and was told I had no choice why does any one know is this a new security requirement

i have flown al over the world never never heard of any thing so ridiculous you should sue the bas......

I have googled it and nothing seems to come up about false teeth and security at airports. I can only assume that they are x-rayed as drugs etc. could be hidden in them.
They're having a laugh. Surely.
