hi can anyone please tell me how often in mileage from new that you have to change a cambelt on a escort 1.6 x reg (2001) ??
am i right in thinking its every 56ooo miles or every 4 years?? many thnx jesyca x

yes thats right
but in my opinion i'd change it every 40 000 and change the belt and tensioners

many thanks booboo67! i had heard 2 different answers all from the same car , 1 was every 80k or 5yrs and the other was every 100k or 10 years! i thought that this was too long. many thanks again, jesyca x
