I'm having a 40th party and am considering getting caterers in to the house as opposed to 12 people going out to a restaurant/pub/club. Has anyone else done it and would you recommend it? It is for 12/14 adults.
Thanks

I have used Marks and Spencers and they were brilliant. Just ordered the things we wanted. They do both ready to cook meats and finger buffets. We were not disappointed and the price wasn't over the top either.
One of my colleagues did this for their Wedding. They ordered from M&S too. But they also ordered glasses, crockery and cutlery (not sure where from though). AND for an extra fee (4), they got to return them dirty, which was well worth it!
some out side caterers are great some aren't it depends where you are & how much you want to spend London has the best choice - mosimanns, rhodes, blue bird to you are at the top end.
waitrose are very good at the cheaper end
