Hi lector,
Once the error had been pointed out to me, I did in fact take the time to type out and send an amendment "slip" to everyone who had sent for and received a quiz with the error on it. ABers and everyone else. After that the quiz sheets sent out were amended.

With regard to the misprint in the number of letters for question 52, my contact details are on the front of the quiz should anyone wish to query any clue.
Unfortunately misprints do happen.

I have had several completed quizzes returned with no adverse comments or confusion.

thanks .... just dont think that it is fair for compilers to 'dialogue' with a section of their audience on a 'live puzzle'
