I am trying to find some information about the artist Bill Hall, who was famous for sports art. I have tried the usual methods (Google etc), but there appears to be little or no information about the artist himself.

Could anyone enlighten me please?

I did get those on Google after typing what you have said. There is, as I said little about the artist himself, just his pictures.
