On Rick Stein's tv show this week, he went to a hotel/restaurant where one night every month they have a puddinh club. They cook about 11 huge traditional englidh puddings, and after you've had your first 2 courses, you eat a helping of each one of the puddings and have to vote for your favourite at the end. This is my idea of absolute heaven!! Only thing is, I dont remember where the place was? Does anyone know!?

Any help would be very much appreciated!!!

Try doing your own!
I once had a party where I provided a light salad meal and everyone invited had to bring a pud. We didn't eat too much of the salad - it was there just to make us feel righteous - and some of the puds I remember were
fruit-filled pineapple shells (enhanced with liquor I believe)
very alcoholic jellies with port and raspberries
lemon meningue pie
- can't remember all of them -
and I did a baked alaska.
Coo - that's brought back memories!
For the record, i don't think you can do any better than a pineapple romanoff!
